The Spotlight on Poland project is an annual conference combined with a study tour for the business and leisure tourism sector. The project aims to promote Polish tourist destinations and share Polish culture, heritage and hospitality with the world. This time we will be discovering Wrocław, the third-biggest city in Poland - a vibrant and modern destination in the south-west part of the country. 'Wrocław - the meeting place' will be the host city for our hosted buyers from the 3rd to the 6th of September 2024. We firmly believe that fun has the remarkable ability to bring people together and strengthen relationships. Therefore, we are committed to showcasing Poland and its diverse tourist regions through a series of joyful experiences that will leave a lasting impact on your journey with us. From immersive discussions to cultural activities with the taste of the destination. We eagerly anticipate your presence and the invaluable insights you will bring to our gathering. Apply now, and we will be thrilled to welcome you to Poland. On the 5th of September, we will all meet for a conference. During the conference, invited experts together with Polish participants and hosted buyers will focus on two up-to-date topics. The session "Tourism in the Age of AI: A New Technological Reality as an Opportunity or Threat?" will focus on the impact of artificial intelligence on the tourism sector. We will discuss topics such as the automation of services, personalization of offers, and new opportunities that AI technologies bring to tourism. We will also consider potential threats, including privacy, data security, and the impact of AI on employment in the tourism industry. How will AI impact the meetings industry? Together we will look for an answer.
The session "ESG in Practice: Environmental, Social, Governance in the Meetings and Tourism Industry" will focus on how ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles are implemented and integrated within the tourism and meetings sectors. We will discuss how companies in these industries can reduce their carbon footprint, promote sustainable travel practices, and support local communities. The session will also analyze how responsible management and transparency can enhance corporate reputation and bring economic benefits. We will address the challenges of implementing ESG policies in the tourism and meetings industry context.

Let us embark on this incredible journey together, as we embrace joy, inspiration, and optimism, and showcase the very best of what Poland has to offer.
